Let it gooo! Let it goooo! Ahem... sorry.

Depicting a great concept and magnificent yet simple posed character, this drawing creates a marvellous feel of the upcoming winter (in the northern hemisphere) in ones mind.

Firstly, the fantastic use of the overwhelming snow and whiteness, even to the point of hiding Luna's body creates the extraordinary feeling of uncontrollable beauty or 'natural beauty' if one so prefers. The large amount of pure white used is a lovely way to present an open ended idea for the viewer. Whether it be that Luna is lost in the icy glow, or that something a head is beyond our comprehension, the use of empty space is ridiculously clever, especially since Le Princess is staring in that direction.

Having a dichromatic drawing presents a level of either luck, skill or both. Using the white to blend with the blue was a great idea and to have the outstanding reds to attract attention to the more detailed and expressive face is brilliant. Also using is as a blush makes Luna even cuter than she already is.

Luna's shading is gorgeous and well placed, but no-one wants to hear that because it's already so obvious how great it is. Moving on >>>

The level of detail within the snowflakes both upon Luna's mane as well as each flake is extraordinary. Many of them having their own unique shape and style is marvellous and a sight to behold. Not over using them as well as not making them a rarity was also balance that you perfected here.

Although a tip for you could be to clean the colour around the line-art. I know it was late when you did this, and it could be a part of the style, but some areas such as the mane seem a little rougher than they should be.
Also, perhaps placing MORE white flakes of snow on Luna would have been a nice idea, creating the effect that she is interacting with the environment.

Overall a beautiful and lovely drawing, with a simple and fantastic idea/concept along with some subtle and handy techniques.
