Description

We all like to think about Luna sitting on/in the moon for 1000 years and how horrible that was. I won't deny that, but I like to remember that Celestia had to live 1000 years alone too.. In fact, it was a different kind of loneliness, a kind of loneliness where she couldn't express it. She had to hide her feelings. She became the sole ruler-protector of Equestria overnight, and banished her own beloved sister for 1000 years. Worst of all, she knew she could have prevented it. Yet through this, she had a kingdom to rule and a war to recover from.
I like to think that Celestia ended up creating rituals like this one to remember her sister. The first night alone after raising the moon herself must have been more painful than any battle wound she might have sustained in the past.

Here's a sort of sequel to this one:

Acting as the sister comic to the previous one; this one is more or less the same as the other save this time it's Celestia is the one who is grieving.

Once again you have a wonderful art style. It has a unique dark feel to it while still having that reminiscent style from the show itself.

From Celestia's point of view she had just lost a dear sister and she knows that she wasn't able to help her and had to send her away really put's an emotional impact on the audience. Even though we probably can't relate to that kind of situation; we still feel emotionally tied to Celestia and that is a very important aspect of impact that you have captured within this comic.

In conclusion this comic is a great example of good comics don't need dialogue.
