I hope this helps some people. Originally making this REALLY helped me.

I'm thinking of doing more of these kinds of things, but for other body parts. What do you guys think of that? What parts should I do it on?

Also, since this isn't a shading tutorial, I didn't explain how to shade exactly. I want to let you use your own style.

I might do more, but I always learn more and more and a "tutorial" I make becomes obsolete from my own knowledge pretty quickly.

I really like this but I have a problem with the positioning, people draw the muzzles higher, lower, or even have theirs protrude out of the head further which makes it really difficult when trying to find a good position.

This really helped me find a style that I liked, nice tutorial.

Yeah, that can be a difficult part. It's one of the most defining parts of many styles though, so play around with it.

It really is very helpful, but could you go a bit more in-depth as for the shading? That's one of the things I'm having the hardest time with :P

Maybe in another tutorial down the road. The shading in this one was actually an afterthought, the point of it is in the sketch more than anything.

For shading, two best things you can do are experiment and look at other peoples' art.

Wow, I've got to try this with my next few pieces. ^.^

If you plan on doing more of these, could I ask to see wings? (that part is always a trouble area for me (I either forget them entirely or do them poorly))

Hmm wings could be a fun one. I have been thinking of doing more and wings would be fun.

Maybe I will, be on the lookout.

Oh, another hard area, at least for me, is the ears... Yes, the ears. As simple as they are, they're so friken hard for me to get down >.<
